Burma Global Action Network (BGAN), established in the wake of the uprising in September 2007, BGAN has initiated and organized various actions aimed at raising public awareness about the situation in Burma. Good links to othe sites - www.burma-network.com 

Prospect Burma, established following the student-led uprisings in 1988, UK charity investing in the democratic future of Burma through its' young people, by funding education scholarships and related education projects for Burmese citizens, many of whom have had to flee overseas - www.prospectburma.org

Chin Human Rights Organization (CHRO), founded in 1995 by a group of Chin activists monitoring the human rights situation in Chin State and Western Burma. CHRO is now a non-governmental non-profit organization legally registered in Canada with branch offices in India, Thailand and the United States -  good for what's happening 'on the ground' in Chin State (western Burma) - www.chro.ca
